CHISPA · LEGAL
Privacy policy
Last reviewed: 30 August 2026.
Summary
Chispa works without an account or cloud service. Your history, active fast, preferences, reference and safety questionnaire stay on the device; Doing Things does not receive them.
Data stored by the app
The app locally stores fasting sessions and corrections, protocol, reference time, preferences, onboarding state and safety answers. iOS shares a minimal summary with its widget and Live Activity; Android shares it with its widget and active notification inside the app's private storage.
Data the app does not process
Chispa does not currently access Apple Health, Health Connect, location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera. It receives no weight, hydration, calorie, activity or metabolic measurements. Safety answers never leave the device.
Website and technical data
When you visit this website, Cloudflare may process the IP address, date and time, requested URL, technical security identifiers and basic browser data to deliver content, prevent abuse and maintain availability. Doing Things adds no third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
Support messages
If you contact support or privacy, we process your address, message and any details you choose to provide to respond, investigate the issue and meet applicable obligations. Please do not send medical information that is not necessary.
Purposes and choice
Technical data is used to provide and protect the website; messages are used to handle your request. There are no secondary advertising, profiling or marketing purposes. You may choose not to contact us and continue using the local app.
Notifications
If you grant permission, Chispa schedules local notifications on your device. Doing Things does not receive their content or schedule; you can disable them in Profile or system settings.
Purchases and stores
Apple or Google processes Chispa Plus as controller of its respective store. Doing Things does not receive your card details; the store provides only the entitlement status needed to enable the purchase. Its policy governs the account, payment and refund.
Providers and disclosures
Cloudflare provides website hosting, delivery and protection and may operate international infrastructure. We disclose data to providers only when needed to provide, protect or support the service, or where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Chispa data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. We keep support messages only as long as needed to resolve them and meet legal responsibilities; technical logs follow the hosting provider's operational and security retention periods.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or objection, withdraw consent or limit use and disclosure by emailing the privacy contact with your name, specific request, affected data and a reply method. We may request the minimum information needed to verify identity and will respond within applicable legal deadlines.
Export and deletion
You can export your history through the system share sheet and erase all local data from Profile. Doing Things cannot recover erased data or access the destination you select for an export; that destination applies its own policy.
Security and children
We apply data minimisation, private platform storage, HTTPS transport and reasonable protective measures. No system is infallible. Chispa is not directed to children and its safety questionnaire disables the timer where appropriate.
Changes and contact
We will publish changes at this URL and show the review date. The controller's legal identity, registered address and the email for privacy and data-rights requests appear at the end of this policy.
