Acceptance

These terms apply to the use of Chispa, the website, and Chispa Plus. By downloading or using the app you accept these terms and the applicable rules of the Apple App Store or Google Play. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Product purpose

Chispa is an educational tracking tool. You manually decide when a fast starts and ends. Phases, milestones, and times are informational estimates, not physiological measurements, diagnoses, or treatments.

Age and safe use

Chispa is intended for adults. Do not use it as a substitute for medical guidance or if the safety questionnaire disables the timer. If you experience severe dizziness, fainting, confusion, or other concerning symptoms, end the fast and seek appropriate care.

Data, account, and device

You can use Chispa without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for protecting access to Apple or Google and for actions taken from your sessions. Sync is optional and stores an end-to-end encrypted copy; still, you should review recorded times and export any information you want to keep before deleting data, removing the account, or uninstalling.

Free service

The timer, safety features, basic journal, export, and deletion are part of the free experience, without ads. We may adjust feature distribution in the future without removing essential safety mechanisms or access to your local data.

Chispa Plus

Plus is optional and enables the functions shown on the purchase screen. Price, currency, taxes, period, available trial, and recurring amount are shown by the store before confirmation. No price or trial is guaranteed outside that screen.

Renewal and cancellation

Unless the store states otherwise, a subscription renews automatically for the period shown until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account. Uninstalling Chispa, deleting its data, or stopping use does not cancel renewal.

Charges and refunds

Apple or Google process charges and apply their payment, billing, cancellation, and refund methods, in addition to compulsory rights in your territory. Contact the store first for a refund and contact support if an acquired right does not appear in the app.

License and intellectual property

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Chispa in accordance with these terms. You may not copy, resell, tamper with, bypass controls, extract code except where law allows, or use the trademarks without permission.

Availability and changes

We may fix bugs, update content, adjust compatibility, and modify or remove features to preserve safety, quality, or viability. We will try to avoid foreseeable data loss and communicate material changes, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability on all devices or in all territories.

Liability and mandatory rights

Use Chispa with judgment and verify any important information. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for medical decisions, external interruptions, or losses caused by use contrary to these terms. Nothing limits non-waivable consumer rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Incidents, account, and termination

You may stop using Chispa or delete your account at any time; neither action alone cancels a subscription. We may close sessions or restrict a feature in cases of abuse, fraud, security risk, or legal requirement. Before filing a claim, you may write to support to try to resolve it.
